The Associazione I Barocchisti is delighted to kick off the new year with an event dedicated to the virtuosity of the Renaissance lute, hosting Maestro Luca Pianca in the Associazione I Barocchisti's 25/26 season. On Friday 30 January at 8.30 pm at the Church of San Carlo Borromeo in Via Nassa in Lugano, Luca Pianca will take us on a journey to discover the music of the 16th century performed on one of the most popular instruments in Europe during that century. The Associazione I Barocchisti, an internationally recognised reference point for music performed with historical criteria and period instruments, wishes to unite and support the best forces in the region to promote this movement. That is why Luca Pianca, with this recital entitled Meraviglia perduta, l'arte del liuto rinascimentale (Lost Wonder, the art of the Renaissance lute), is bringing the art of the Renaissance lute back to the forefront of I Barocchisti's musical season with his expertise and inspiration in the Renaissance repertoire.
The Association I Barocchisti issues the tickets for concerts at the Auditorio Stelio Molo independently, without relying on any external providers. For this reason, it is not possible to choose a seat, and the tickets issued are not numbered. Discounts are available for certain categories of spectators, as well as agreements with some local institutions (Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, SUPSI).
Tickets are issued upon receipt of payment and sent via email.
On the evening of the concert, simply present a copy of the received ticket, either in digital or printed form, to gain access to the hall.
